Privacy Policy

ASJ has no accounts, no ads and no servers of its own. The website remembers only your theme and language, in your own browser. The apps keep your settings and files on your device.

The site is a set of static pages hosted on GitHub Pages, and downloads are served from GitHub Releases. It sets no cookies. Your choice of light or dark mode and of language is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. As the host, GitHub may record technical information such as IP addresses to operate its service; that is covered by GitHub's Privacy Statement.

ASJ apps run entirely on your device. Their settings, and anything you save, stay there. ASJ does not collect, receive or sell any information. A few optional ASJTube features contact an outside service only when you use them:

• Lyrics — the track's title is looked up on lrclib.net when you tap the lyrics button.
• Translate — the text you choose, and the language you pick, are sent to Google Translate.
• Skip sponsors — off by default; when you turn it on, only a short fingerprint of the video's ID is sent to SponsorBlock.

ASJTok contacts no outside service. The apps they extend — YouTube and TikTok — keep working under their own privacy policies.

If you email or message on Telegram, what you send is used only to reply to you, and is never shared.

Payments through Ko-fi or PayPal are handled by them under their own policies. ASJ sees only what they share with a recipient, such as a name and an amount.

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
